Before + AFTER! New office

The task of taking a tired 90’s office and turning it into a multi-functional space, is a easy challenge for us.

Our key needs were an

  1. expandable office space

  2. welcoming entry to double as a entertaining space with beverage centre

  3. a private meeting room,

  4. semi private collaborative space,

  5. workstations hub,

  6. functional kitchen and

  7. women’s and men’s toilet and shower.

Working on a limited budget and some investment from the owner, the space needed a full refresh

  • floors

  • walls

  • ceiling

  • electrical upgrades

  • air-con

  • small plumbing upgrades

  • cabinetry

  • workstations

  • furniture

Once our engineer assessed the structure, we were able to open the space and let more light through by removing walls, cutting back some and installing a internal window to the private meeting room.

Unsightly air-con ducts were removed and air intakes and flows were added directly into a higher ceiling for a more streamlined look.

Old carpets were removed and we sanded back and polished the concrete for a super functional finish.

Areas needed carpet had Interface carpet tiles installed for easy maintenance and low environmental footprint.

The overall impact amazed the building owner and has improved the value of the asset.

It has given client’s inspiration to how to overcome a dark old office feel.
